Mohammad Taqvi

Dr. Mohammad Taqvi earned his bachelor’s of science degree in biology from Benedictine University and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University. He also has his Certificate of Achievement: Fellow of restored smiles implant training.

Dr. Taqvi pursued a career in dentistry because it allows him to connect with people and help them overcome fear or insecurities.  He truly enjoys finding solutions for different situations or challenges and providing a unique treatment plan to fit each patient.  He is committed to providing the best oral care and giving his patients a confident and radiant smile that will last a lifetime.

Dr. Taqvi volunteered on a mission trip in the Dominican Republic where he provided dental care to underserved communities. When he is not in the office creating beautiful smiles, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and playing with his two dogs.  Fun facts – Dr. Taqvi is ambidextrous and speaks Urdu!

Mina H. Chung

Dr. Sobia Shaikh

Dr. Sobia Shaikh was born and raised in Pakistan, she obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and moved to US in 2001 in pursuit of better career. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York university (NYU) in 2008 and decided to settle in Chicago suburbs. Dr. Shaikh is a dedicated and compassionate general dentist committed to providing the best possible dental care to patients of all ages. With a passion for promoting oral health and a gentle touch, Dr. Shaikh strives to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for every patient. Dr. Shaikh believes in staying current with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques. She regularly attends continuing education courses and workshops to ensure that her patients receive the highest standard of care using state-of-the-art dental equipment and procedures. Dr. Michelle Lancaster

Dr. Michelle Lancaster is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago College of Dental Surgery. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors and was elected to membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. Her professional affiliations include life membership in the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and American Dental Association. 

Dr. Lancaster enjoys working with children and their parents, striving for a positive experience for everyone. 

She and her husband have identical twin daughters and a son who have all followed their passions into the medical field. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, pursued her enthusiasm for cooking by attending culinary school, and has completed 13 marathons. She is very excited and honored to join Grove Dental Associates.

Dr. Mustafa Youssef

Dr. Moustafa Youssef, DDS received his undergraduate degree and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Mansoura Dental University in Egypt in 2012 and completed his Research Fellowship at the University of Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health. He is also certified in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. Youssef’s professional areas of interest include general dentistry, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and digital dentistry.

“My goal is to provide my patient with painless dental treatment, by ensuring their visit is as stress-free and pain-free as possible.”

I am fluent in four languages: English, French, Arabic, and Spanish. I’ve been very fortunate to travel all over the world. In fact, it gives me a unique ability to understand and communicate with patients at a much deeper level. While some aspects of treatment are universal, others are more personal. My treatment plan reflects the unique wants and needs of every person and every background.

Regenerative dentistry: the art and science of regenerating tissues (bone, ligament etc.) lost to disease. My own research involved the use of light (low level lasers) to disinfect surfaces on the one hand (aka photodynamic therapy) and accelerate wound healing on the other (aka photobiomodulation). Research is still early but very promising!

Dr. Abdulkader Ghadiali

Dr. Abdulakader Ghadiali earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Pacific and he received his DDS from the University of Southern California. He is also board-certified in Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and earned that degree from The University of Southern California Fresno. 

His main interests are IV sedation, extractions, wisdom teeth removal, implants, benign pathology and trauma. Dr. Ghadiali pursued a career in dentistry because he enjoys the interactions with patents and being able to have work-life balance. In dentistry, he finds it very rewarding to be able to improve his patient’s oral health. He has been told by many of his patients that they have had very pleasant experiences during surgery! 

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and going to new places to visit. He also speaks Hindi.

Special Medical Interests:

Regenerative dentistry: the art and science of regenerating tissues (bone, ligament etc.) lost to disease. My own research involved the use of light (low level lasers) to disinfect surfaces on the one hand (aka photodynamic therapy) and accelerate wound healing on the other (aka photobiomodulation). Research is still early but very promising!

Gabriel Murphy

Dr. Gabriel Murphy is a pediatric dentist who is excited to have joined the Grove Dental team in Wheaton and looks forward to meeting all our wonderful families.

He grew up in Tennessee and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors and found his passion for working with children.

Dr. Murphy later completed his pediatric dentistry residency at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, where he became comfortable treating medically complex patients and those with special health care needs. He is committed to providing positive and fun experiences for each child, while striving to keep them cavity-free.

“My favorite thing about pediatric dentistry is seeing how little ones come into our office afraid to even let us brush their teeth but they leave smiling with stickers!”

Outside of the office, Dr. Murphy lives in West Loop, Chicago, with his wife, Whitney and their dog, Kiba. Together they enjoy trying new restaurants, traveling and exploring the city. Some of Dr. Murphy’s hobbies include, lifting weights, grilling and playing videogames. He looks forward to meeting you all soon!

Dr. Abdulkader Ghadiali

Dr. Abdulakader Ghadiali earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Pacific and he received his DDS from the University of Southern California. He is also board-certified in Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and earned that degree from The University of Southern California Fresno. 

His main interests are IV sedation, extractions, wisdom teeth removal, implants, benign pathology and trauma. Dr. Ghadiali pursued a career in dentistry because he enjoys the interactions with patents and being able to have work-life balance. In dentistry, he finds it very rewarding to be able to improve his patient’s oral health. He has been told by many of his patients that they have had very pleasant experiences during surgery! 

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and going to new places to visit. He also speaks Hindi.
